Care Ring’s 5th Annual Casino Night

A blanket of shimmering snow added to the festive atmosphere of Care Ring’s 5th Annual Casino Night hosted by the Young Professionals Council. Nearly 400 guests (369 to be exact) filled NoDa’s eXtravaganza Depot for an exciting evening of casino games, a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament and music by Ken Swiggett.
Guests dined on a smorgasbord of mouth-watering appetizers from some of Charlotte’s most notable restaurants and a fabulous dessert bar that included Amelie’s famous Salted Caramel Brownies. A special shout out to thank event sponsor Carolina Brewery, who kept the beer flowing, local vineyards who provided an array of their best wines, and Triple Crown Catering for managing the food service. Two new features proved to be very popular: a delectable coffee bar provided by Magnolia Coffee and the opportunity for guests to commemorate the evening with souvenir photos thanks to ShutterBooth.
Casino Night, one of Care Ring’s most anticipated annual events, raised $40,965 from ticket sales, a 50-item silent auction that showcased beach rentals, fashion jewelry, health products and services and tickets to major sports events. Such a successful evening is not possible without the generous support of our corporate sponsors including Red|Ventures, UnitedHealthcare, NCBT, QCnights, and OrthoCarolina.
